This is not the first place that this statement has been made, but just remember, you heard it here.
After finding out the results of the Trappe Borough Council election this week, I can almost guarantee what is going to happen. Pay attention folks, and remember the council meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday November 13th.
Strauss lost his write-in campaign attempt to take the 2 year term from Watson. His attempt failed by 310 votes. But that's not the end of the story, not by a long shot.
Wait and see.
By the end of this year Strauss and Carrig are BOTH going to resign at or around the same time, following that, Strauss will be appointed to fill Carrig's vacant spot, finishing out the last two years of his term. Which also means Watson and Strauss will have the same amount of term on Council.
Nice move, huh?
Watch the puppets at play, and see if you can spot the strings above their heads.

Hell, that's a forgone conclusion. We already knew that that was gonna happen. The bottom line is that the puppets will no longer be in the majority and common sense will dictate what happens in our borough.
Don't ya think it's kinda funny how Mark Carrig hasn't said word one under his assumed alias of "Craig Marks" since the election ?
I also found it funny that they are so sticking to the idea that the pvpa blogspot wasn't part of their campaign strategy and that it wasn't Mark writing it that they had to go out during the day yesterday to remove the Strauss campaign signs and then return in the darkness of night to remove the blogspot signs that were put there right next to them, thinking that no one would see them.....whoops !........caught them doing that last night ! HAHAHAHA
He has now. He ran down the local election board and gave a congratulations of sorts to the Trappe winners. But he has just as much to say, albeit falsely, about cross-filing.
Getting enough Democrat write-ins during the primary, enough to be put on the ballot for the election, is not the same as cross-filing in both parties.
That is a horse of a different color.
And Edwards was NEVER on the Democratic ballot.
